In 2017, to kickstart my science writing career I completed a journalism internship at the Sunday Times. My task was to come up with weekly topics, interview relevant people, and write articles, of which three were published in the Sunday paper.

I have written many blog articles for the Dunhill Medical Trust (DMT). These aim to share the success stories of their past grant awardees and participants in their various schemes.

I have produced several pieces of content for Pictura Bio, including this press release which highlights how their rapid AI diagnostic tool for infectious diseases can accurately identify multiple pathogens within minutes. I work with a life science marketing and communications agency called IB Communications and help create content for their clients including blogs, press releases and website copy.

This is a press release I wrote for BioSenic, a company that specialises in cell therapies for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, announcing a financial payment from a previous partner.

During my two years as a Communications Executive at the Society for Endocrinology, one of my responsibilities was to read through newly submitted scientific papers and identify newsworthy research to write press releases about. This press release reveals how vitamin B12 deficiency may be linked to obesity during pregnancy.

This is an animated video I created for the educational website, You and Your Hormones. I worked with an animator to create the video, write the script and design visuals. The video has received great feedback, with over 4,000 views in the first 3 months.

At the Society for Endocrinology, I created yearly marketing leaflets that highlighted the years’ achievements, to impress and attract future clients.
